Lakeland universities get prepared for Pink Wave of anti-bullying functions

LAKELAND – On Feb. 28, Pink Shirt Working day will be celebrated across Alberta, and especially in school classrooms.  

Scholar leaders in universities throughout the Lakeland will participate in an active job in analyzing routines in their universities for this year’s Pink Shirt Working day on Feb. 28. 

The origins of this day, which is recognized per year all over the entire world as an anti-bullying initiative, date back again to 2007, when a Nova Scotia university student was bullied for putting on a pink shirt to university.
