The Schulich Faculty of Law welcomed Sarah Harding (LLB ’89) as its new dean this week.
Harding, whose 5-12 months term began Monday (August 21), is the seventeenth dean of the legislation faculty and the fourth woman to serve in the situation. She succeeds Camille Cameron, who held the job given that 2015.
Harding states her deep and abiding affection for her alma mater brought her back to the area in which her authorized instruction commenced.
“I certainly cherished my time at Dalhousie. It was a pivotal time for me that I will always cherish,” she suggests. “I’m looking forward to providing back to a place that has meant so significantly to me.”
She also credits the Schulich School of Law’s dedication to public service, its energetic method to addressing injustices and inequities, and its extensive-standing toughness as equally a regional and national university for attracting her to the part.

Harding’s education and learning began with a Bachelor of Arts from McGill College. Harding has remained committed to the Weldon Custom of unselfish public company since her time at Dal.
