North Okanagan Youth and Household Services Culture Goes Pink with compliment cupcakes Feb. 28

North Okanagan Youth and Spouse and children Products and services Culture (NOYFSS) is back in the pink.

The Vernon-based mostly group is bringing back its well known NOYFSS Goes Pink fundraising initiative.

On Wednesday, Feb. 28, NOYFSS staff will commemorate Pink Shirt Day by sporting pink and marketing Compliment Cupcakes.

Pink Shirt Day is an initiative that raises recognition of bullying in educational institutions, workplaces, residences, and on the net. It also raises resources to help plans and groups that foster healthful self-esteem in children and youth.

“This is a super entertaining initiative we began at NOYFSS many decades in the past,” stated Dean Francks, executive director. “We have not experienced the option to keep this celebration in its entirety considering that 2019, and pointless to say we are enthusiastic to finally provide it back.”
